Success Story: Eleanor Cooke - All roads lead to Dreamland
Where I didn’t have access to family or friends in the industry to champion me, the Creative Foundation bridged this gap. The Creative Foundation paired her directly with someone within the creative industry as part of a 16-week mentorship programme.
Don't just take our word for it...
Here are some quotes from young creatives who attended our Creative Careers Fair in the past. 100% of respondents said that the creative industries now feel more accessible to them.
“It was informative and empowering hearing all that information from such talented and experienced professionals”
“I enjoyed meeting lots of new people and learning about different sectors of the creative industries”
“I gained huge insight into what I now consider a future career”
“I enjoyed the talk with the CMN and the awards ceremony at the end. I sat at the Ogilvy table and got to chat with so many interesting people.”
“I most enjoyed the personal connections. It felt like there were real people in the industry who weren’t as inaccessible as I had once thought.”
“The talks had such a variety that felt informative and empowering”
“Gives me more confidence in being able to secure a job at my level”
“It gave me motivation to create and connections to other creatives”
“I now have a better understanding of the industry and will approach my work with a bit more confidence”
“Some of the talks have made me feel more confident about being a woman in the industry”
“Seeing other people’s work was also inspiring and makes me think of different ways I can make great campaigns”
“I have a healthier outlook on work ethic and setting boundaries”
“I feel as though I want to work in a specific creative industry now and I’m working towards that”
“It makes me understand a bit more about how to go about entering the creative industries and the differences between them”
